Support a gay Armenian victim

February 2nd, 2024, in Yerevan, a life was changed forever. A friendly message on a dating app led to a harrowing ordeal for an unsuspecting victim—an ambush born out of ignorance and malice.

Brutally attacked for simply being himself, a member of our LGBTQ+ family now faces a long road to healing, a road marred by physical and mental scars, costly medical bills, and legal hurdles. This violent hate crime has struck at the heart of our community, yet it has also ignited a flame of solidarity. It is a brutal reminder of the journey to achieving acceptance and safety for everyone, regardless of who they love or how they identify.

I have decided to lead this fundraising effort. Your donation is more than financial support; it is a lifeline for medical treatment and a beacon of hope for a kinder future.

Donate today to help cover surgery, rehabilitation, legal representation, and living costs. Each contribution reaffirms our stance against violence and paves the way toward healing—not just for one, but for all those who face discrimination.

I want your support to raise cautious awareness within our circles. Let us remind one another of the importance of safety in the digital age, to trust but verify, and to connect with authenticity and care.

In the wake of this tragedy, let us also unite to support our community member who remains brave in the face of adversity. Embrace this effort with a donation and become part of a movement affirming that no one should walk their path in fear.
